Should I use v r or signed ? : r AirForce - Reddit Maybe in the Navy, but our writing guide does not mention v r or "very respectfully" It even states that one should use "Respectfully yours" when writing POTUS (pg 195 of the reg but pg 205 in the pdf), and I'm pretty sure a Navy O-5 doesn't require more respect than POTUS
